Tiger Woods

All eyes were on Tiger Woods and
girlfriend Lindsey Vonn at Monday night’s
Met Gala in New York City as the two
made their first red-carpet debut as a
happy couple. And while most of the
photos taken that evening show the
smiling pro golfer and Olympic skier
simply posing for photographers, body
language expert Dr. Lillian Glass sees
more to the story.
“Her elbow’s out, she’s taking up more
space than he is. She’s mugging for the
camera. She’s hogging the limelight. It’s
a competitive thing,” says Glass, who
adds that women often choose a dress
color like Vonn’s “basically to be seen.
The brighter, the lighter … she stands
out.”
In another shot, Vonn still has one hand
on her hip, but keeps her other on her
man’s shoulder. Is that a better sign?
Apparently not, according to Glass. "Her
hand on his shoulder, that means
friendship. That's not very romantic."
Even the shot an omg! staffer took from
the red carpet of the couple holding
hands on the way in doesn't bode well,
according to Glass. "This is going to end
up in a bad situation. She's turned her
back on him, she's ahead of him," she
says. "Look how many people are
between them. Instead of staying by his
side, she's left him behind."
After rumors began swirling earlier this
year that Vonn, 28, and Woods, 37, were
an item, the athletes confirmed the
news in March by posting professionally
shot photos of themselves together on
their Facebook pages along with notes.
"Lindsey and I have been friends for
some time, but over the last few months
we have become very close and are now
dating," Woods wrote as part of his post.
Vonn put up her own post a short time
later: "I guess it wasn't a well-kept
secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods,"
she shared on her page.
The couple reportedly met in April 2012
and struck up a romantic relationship that
fall. Just last month, Vonn showed the
world she was indeed the supportive
girlfriend when she flew to Augusta,
Georgia, to watch Woods compete in the
Masters.
As for the final shot of the couple taken
Monday night, you probably don’t need a
body language expert to tell you what’s
going on there. We’ll let you decide for
yourself.
